So I met up with my very good friend recently and all he was talking about was how amazing the Strings Umplugged-Acoustic Night was and how I missed out on a wonderful event.

Out of curiosity I did a bit of investigative journalism (as A professional *winks) saw a post about them on Bellanaija and got in touch with the organizers of this amazing event I've been hearing so much about.

According to Chukwuebuka Anyaduba, the founder of STRINGS UNPLUGGED-Acoustic Night, the idea is to appreciate and encourage makers of good music in the society.

Highlights of STRINGS UNPLUGGED-Acoustic Night


 Strings Unplugged-Acoustic Night is founded by Executive Director TOG Media, Chukwuebuka Anyaduba and organised with the duo of Mercy Isoyip and Blessing Saxone. The idea of this event is to create a lifestyle event for lovers of good music such as live performances, acoustic sounds and opera. The maiden edition was held on the 13th of May 2018 in partnership with Hardrock Cafe Lagos.

Highlights of STRINGS UNPLUGGED-Acoustic NightThe event which was headlined by Soul Singer Ric Hassani had in attendance celebrities such as the award winning pop artiste M.I Abaga, Ilblis, VJ Adams, Chris Okagbue, Bryan Okwara, Ifan Michaels, Bred, Adewale Adeleke (Chairman HKN Music), to mention but a few. Other performances includes Maka, Opera Singer, Sandra Osamor, Davidskima, Ctizz, Nigerian Nicki Minaj Descushiel, to mention but a few. Another high point of the event was the stellar performance from the Sisi Crooner, Sexy Steel. The event was hosted by atlanta based event host Mama J and Jennifer Brown.

I also heared Strings Unplugged shall be a quarterly event and promises to be back sometime in September 2018.
